Celebrate the change of seasons by adding some green to your plate! Green vegetables are so amazing for you: They’re a great sources of fiber and provide powerful antioxidant vitamins A, C and K, plus a TON  of other vitamins and minerals.  Green veggies are also usually low in calories, and help make you feel fuller for longer (perfect tool for weight loss!).

Spinach is low in fat and even lower in cholesterol,  it is also packed in nutrients and vitamins including niacin and zinc, as well as protein, fiber, vitamins A, C, E and K, thiamin, vitamin B6, folate, calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, copper, and manganese.

The nutrients found in Spinach can help with  blood clotting, bone healing, are important for regulating your blood cells and blood pressure, and can help reduce inflammation in the body.


Both nutrient dense and  low in calories, broccoli is rich in essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Broccoli contains significant amounts of vitamin C, vitamin K, folate, potassium, selenium, vitamin A, manganese, tryptophan, vitamin B6, and phosphorus. Eating broccoli may help reduce the risk of some cancers, improve bone health, regulate blood pressure, and improve cognitive function. Also, nutrients in broccoli have been linked proven necessary for skin health, eye health and even fertility!


Yes,  we all know that eating asparagus makes your pee smell. But,  there are plenty of reasons to fill your plate wi. this yummy green veggie. Asparagus has  vitamins and minerals like vitamins A, C, E, K, and B6, as well as folate, iron, copper, and calcium. Asparagus is a top choice for weight loss  since it is very low in fat, and contains a TON of  fiber, which keeps you feeling full in between meals. Also, it’s good to note the vitamin E, B6 and folate content make asparagus a powerful aphrodisiac!

Dandelion Greens

Yes that weed you find in your lawn is actually really really good for you! . Fresh dandelion greens have a mild,  slightly bitter flavor and are available at many health food stores.  It contains all vitamins except vitamin D, and also is a rich source of zinc, calcium, potassium, magnesium, and manganese. Dandelion greens also contain phytochemicals and high amounts of dietary fiber. They are helpful in improving eye health, decreasing water weight, and detoxifying the liver!
