We love CLEAN GREEN smoothies! Especially right as we’re entering spring!
Blending up fresh and tasty produce into a smoothie can be a great way to boost your veggies without too much extra stress, and it’s also really good for digestion, detox and feeling great.
I’ve added some fresh spring produce, and also some fresh herbs here too. I love the fresh herbs (cilantro here- but you could substitute for basically anything that you want to add instead (like parsley) because these herbs are great for helping your body to naturally detoxify.
If you want to add some extra protein you can try something like this UPLIFT prebiotic/protein (I love it) or simply add some collagen peptides (for no added flavor)- or leave it just as it is!
Springy Green Smoothie
- 1 kiwi, peeled (small)
- 1/2 orange, peeled
- 2 handfuls spinach
- 1 handful kale
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 3-4 stems cilantro (optional)
- 8 oz coconut water
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 cup ice
- Wash and prepare all of your ingredients
- Add your ingredients to your blender
- Blend on high until well blended (about 30-45 seconds)
- Serve and enjoy!
